Almo Corporation’s Warren Chaiken Receives Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Top Leadership Award for Mid-Sized Companies

Philadelphia, PA — May 1, 2019 — Almo Corporation, the nation’s leading independent distributor of appliances, consumer electronics, Pro A/V equipment and housewares, today revealed that its President and CEO, Warren Chaiken has received a Philadelphia Inquirer 2019 Top Leadership Award for Mid-Sized Companies.

This follows a previous announcement about Almo earning a 2019 Philadelphia Inquirer Top Workplace award, marking the sixth time that Almo Corporation has been listed as a leader in the mid-size business category on the Top Workplace list.

A third-generation family-owned business with approximately 600 employees, Almo Corporation was founded in 1946 by Chaiken’s grandfather, then led by his father Gene Chaiken, who is currently Chairman of the Board for Almo Corporation.
